Randall County deputies take Mark Edward Hanson, 29, into custody Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, in Amarillo, Texas, about 12 hours after he escaped solitary confinement at the Randall County Jail. No injuries were reported in the arrest of Hanson, who is facing capital murder charges in connection with a Jan. 7, 2005, killing.

The driver of the red pickup, Dale Williams Santiago, of Friona, center, was issued a ticket for failure to yield right of way.
